Purpose

To properly educate the public on the impact and possible damages of alcohol and drug use in the community.

To promote the understanding that alcoholism and other drug addictions are diseases and, as such, are treatable with the proper are.

To extend and expand services to all substance abusers and / or addicts, his or her family, employer and the community.

To educate by keeping the public informed of the early warning signs of the disease.  To provide early detection and treatment, thereby minimizing the trauma caused by the destructive process of alcoholism and other drug addictions.
